YUI 3
YUI 3 is Yahoo!'s next-generation JavaScript and CSS library. It powers the new Yahoo! homepage and incorporates what we've learned in five years of dedicated library development. The YUI 3 Core along with a set of utilities are now production quality and ready for use by the development community.
Latest Release
YUI 3.0.0 was made available 9/29/09. Additional information about the release can be found in the following locations:
- Highlights: Blog post summarizing the highlights of the YUI 3.0.0 release.
- Documentation: Detailed description of YUI 3.0.0 and how to use it.
- License: The YUI Library is issued under a BSD license.
- Download: Get the code and try it out.

Reporting Defects / Making Enhancement Requests
YUILibrary.com is the new location for reporting defects found in the YUI 3 code as well as for logging enhancement requests for consideration for future updates. All tickets that were previously located in the tracker repositories on Source Forge have been migrated to this site. The IDs of all tickets have been preserved in the transition in order to make tracking of items easy for the original submitters.
You can review existing tickets filed for YUI 3 by clicking the View Tickets link at the top of this page. Please review the YUI guidelines for filing defects and making enhancement requests before adding new tickets to the YUI 3 project using the New Ticket link above.
