Chromahash is based on a jQuery module by Mattt Thompson, to serve as a visualization for password fields to aide users in verifying that their password entry is complete before submitting a form. It uses one to four color bars derived from the user's password and an optional salt value.
Configuration Options
- bars: Number of color bars to display, must be between 1 and 4, inclusive (optional)
- salt: A salt value to be appended to a password prior to being hashed (optional)
- minimum: number of characters in the password before the visualization switches from grayscale to color
