Hi,

When making a request with "timeout: 3000" field and also "sync:true", the timeout doesn't work as it is also clear from docs.

In my implementation, I need functionality that is a blend of both of them.
I need the function that makes the io request to keep executing until some response is obtained. But this execution shouldn't be more than 3 secs (as in case of timeout).

Please suggest me some way to do that. I am using YUI 3.4.1
