What is faster ?
Linking the YUI components from yahoo or googleapis or saving the files directly on my web server ?

If you have all your users in an intranet, with the server close by, having the YUI files in the server is the best. However, if you have your final users spread all over the world, there is a better chance that they'll be able to reach a server in either CDN than your own server across half the planet.
