Global lock unlock switch for DragDrop?

YUI 2 had some lock() api on DDM instance, which used to lock all the drag instances.
What is the YUI3 equivalent to it ??
why am i not able to find it in docs ??
and no example that shows the same.

There is no lock on the DDM in 3.x.

That means you are suppose to go in each instances of proxy and do proxy.set('lock', true)?
