autocomplete not working in internet explorer

I implement the autocomplete in my system, but autocomplete not working in internet explorer 8. In mozilla firefox is ok.
Appear a error:

This is a known issue in IE. Specifying a UTF-8 charset for the page that uses AutoComplete should fix this.
