Yep - not sure what has happened to the forum emailing on thread updates. I even hit 'Subscribe Topic' and don't get emails.

In any case - thanks for the delegate example. Much cleaner than my way! However, at the time renderUI is fired, the footer content is not available. Do we agree? Using delegate is a sweet way of working around this - but my question still is - in renderUI I thought I could rely on the content having been rendered (ie that was the purpose of this method).

Eric - sorry I missed that. I agree with the other forum post - this is confusing to me. For the moment, I'll just work off syncUI and keep an eye on whether this is changed in 3.5.
