Grids still in Beta?

The "new" grids are still in Beta, and have been for quite some time - any line of site to when they will come out of Beta? Is there anything left to be done on these that's holding them up? Also what about a Grids Builder?

Grids will be coming out of beta for 3.5.0.

The only potential change on the road map is to decouple the unit style declarations from the core grid implementation, but that would introduce a new module, something like "cssgrids-core" that cssgrids will depend on, so it won't affect backwards compatibility, but offer a lighter base version for users of custom units.

An updated Grid Builder is planned, however no ETA for that yet.
