Hey all. I had another question about charts, this time about perf. I'm near completing what I wanted to accomplish with charts, but I'm starting to notice that rendering performance is severely impacted once I start getting over about 500 data points.
http://jsfiddle.net/gYzy6/ (Note: I'll have to apologize for the wall of data pts you'll have to look at in this example. The data is what will be returned from an API call. Sorry for the cryptic-looking code too, I wanted to keep it relatively close to how I'm using it. Thanks for your help, Chris |

It looks like you may be hitting known performance issues that occur when a large number of markers are rendered.
http://yuilibrary.com/projects/yui3/ticket/2530151 I am currenty pursuing solutions for this issue. Thanks, Tripp |

My series of about 10 charts was taking ~2 minutes in firefox 3.6.4 in BSD to render in yui 3.3.0 and is now down to 5-6 seconds in yui 3.4.0 Not sure what you've changed, but it's a big improvement.
