Simulate method problem in IE9

In IE9 with IE9 standards, when I used simulate method of node-event-simulate like
Node.simulate('click')
it throws me an error like "Invalid argument". And this works fine in other browsers and also lower versions of IE. Could you please help me out.

Hi there,

I'm having the same problem in Internet Explorer 9.

I've also tried in Firefox 11 and Google Chrome 18 and encountered no issues.

Any ideas on how to solve this ?
