Hello,
I know that there is in gallery pop up calendar and it will be included in future releases but here is one quick and dirty plugin that will convert you current calendar to pop up calendar.
Note, link to pop up image is hardcoded, you have to change it in code.

Exampe usage:
calendar.plug( Y.Plugin.PopUpCalendar );
