Rich Text Editor: view only/editable.

I want the editor view only at first, then make it editable at a proper time later. But, I can not find such function of the EditorBase class.
Try setting 'disabled' attribute to the containing div does not help.

Anyone give me a hint?
Thanks.

I workaround this issue by placing a translucent mask (same size) over the editor. Then show/hide the mask to make the view only/editable effect.

That is exactly what the Editor class would end up doing, but it hasn't been written yet.
