Y.node get('region') doesn't work on 3.4

In my case I have the select tag box, get node region stop work on 3.4.

Here is the code:

Y.one('#dropdown1'). get('region')

Please confirm.

Thanks. It also works on select tag http://jsfiddle.net/vysun123/3nD3R/1/. Let me debug more on my code. it is possible form load change on 3.4 before the domready.
