App crashes Chrome/Firefox

We have the following basic setup in our app, and it used to work in Chrome and Safari. After today's Chrome update to 19.0.1084.46, the browser crashes with a maximum stack size exceeded. As far as we can determine, this happens somewhere within the YUI bowels.

Firefox was already crashing on the app.

Are we doing something inherently wrong here?

The way to get around this is to create your sub-apps right away.

Thanks for your response. We'll have a look at the work around you suggested, while waiting for 3.6.0.
