Issue with Browser History Manager

I've found what I believe to be a flaw in the way the BHM works. I set up a few demo pages to explain.

http://scottjohnson.org/yui2-history/history-issue1.html

The issue has to do with how the BHM is told what the initial state is. When loading a bookmarked page, the YUI demos show setting the initial state to the bookmarked state. But that doesn't work when you then want to go back from there. Explained in more details on the demo pages.

I believe the BHM could be modified to make this work without the ugly hack I resorted to.

This issue was fixed in the YUI 3 History utility.

Indeed. I was using YUI2 because I needed many of the GUI widgets that weren't/aren't yet available in YUI3. I didn't realize how easy it was to intermix the two.

I switched to using YUI3 History and it all works as intended. Thanks for your response.
