It's probably because the newer swf file was made to be compatible with a newer version of flash, whilst still being compatible with previous versions.

While we still need to investigate it further, it appears that the BA limitations are due to the fact that the new SWF file targets Flash Player 10 when compiled.
We'll continue checking if there is any way around it. In the meantime, have you considered alternative authentication methods? You can pass the same data that normally goes into the header of the request as a POST variable, and modify server logic to take care of that. Thanks, Allen |
