I added a new BBCode tag to aid in sharing code on the forums.
You can visit GitHub's Gist site and paste in your code. When you "Paste" the code, it will save it with a unique id. Something like "gist: 50866" Now you can enter it like this: Code: [gist=50886]My Example[/gist] Note the title of the gist can only contain: Characters from the latin alphabet (A-Z), numbers, spaces, commas, dots, minus, plus, hyphen and underscore And get this: My ExampleClick here to see the revision history on this Gist. |

Is there a way to do something similar with pastie? They offer the embedded link ... but I don't think that would work for security reasons ...
<script src='http://pastie.org/1882576.js'></script> maybe ... [pastie=1882576]Program 1[/pastie] Just a thought. |

I didn't choose pastie support because I actually know the crew over at GitHub and I know how they serve their content

SLICK! I wasn't familiar with GIST, but I like it better now, having tried it. This worked great! Thanks!!
