Differen aui.js and yui.js / using YUI2 components

Just a question.

What is the functional difference in using the aui.js (from alloy) or the yui.js as loader of the different components?

Can I user the aui.js also to load yui2 components i.e. the datatable from yui2?
The yui2 components are used as local files. And if yes do you have an (working) example available?
