Questions about input text formatting

Hi,
It is possible to have these effects?

It is possible to mark on red input text border when validation on this is failed?

It is possible to have text in input which disappears after first click? It will be nice if it will be on light grey.

I hope that you will understand me :-)

Can you give me example?
