Simple dom event error in IE 7 & 8

I'm sure it's simply because I've been staring at this for too long, but for some reason a simple 'click' handler on an anchor is now producing an error. Can someone tell me what glaringly obvious thing am I missing?

Here's the trivial example: http://pastebin.com/Vd81R9ci

With the 'dump' module loaded, IE doesn't throw the error but it still occurs as can be seen in the dump output of inEvent. Without the dump module loaded IE 7 & 8 throws the error.

Hello Joel.

I tried the snippet without dump module (and commenting out the dump line) on IE8 and I don't catch any error (http://jsfiddle.net/RZWwp/1/).

Did you resolve it?
