Hi YUI community,

I'm currently looking at different editors to integrate into an wiki built with Drupal.

My main problem here is that I need two custom buttons:

1. Wiki-links: I need the user to be able to highlight a certain word or number of words, push the button to make it a wiki-link and have a pop-up that asks for the wikiword. In code, this would look like this [[wikiword inserted via popup | highlighted text]].

2. footnotes: I need a button that opens a pop-up where the user can enter the text for a footnote. This text should also be stylable, or at least be able to contain links. Technically, at the spot where the footnote number is supposed to appear, [fn]footnote text[/fn] is inserted.

Can this be accomplished in YUI? And yes, what is the most straightforward way to do so?
