Detecting keyboard action

It would be nice if this could be used to distinguish between keyboard ation and mouse action also, because I'm interested in knowing when a user stops typing. In my case, it is to prevent an autocomplete from firing to often. So, for me "stop typing" means: detect that user starts typing: detect that user stops typing which is inaction of a fraction of a second.

Cheers,

Marc

Hey Marc,

I don't think that's a valid use-case for this component. The thing here is to detect that the user is doing nothing. Detecting if the user stop typing into an input element looks like a complete different use-case to me. Maybe you can create a new module for that.

Best Regards,
Caridy
